FCS1000
FCS1000 is a system for monitoring and automation of cooling fluid in Cryo-compressor cooling loop.
FCS1000 is a system for monitoring and automation of cooling fluid in Cryo-compressor cooling loop. Cryo-compressor is a device in MRI system in charge of supplying Cold Head of magnet with fresh helium. Since it is the vital part of the system, it is important to keep it working optimally. This is where FCS1000 system comes in.
FCS1000 system device can be described as custom made PLC equipped with: GSM network access (for sending and receiving SMS messages), internet access (for communication with online database), I/O interface (for connecting sensors and actuators), custom TWCL communication interface (for in device communication and expending system capabilities) and many more. The FCS1000 device in first production version and it can be seen in figure 2 and figure 3.
On this project I have:
- PCB board,
- Firmware for micro-processors,
- Back end service with API for device connection to the Cloud.
